February 2021 (Greensboro, NC) -- “I wanted to figure out how to go from catering to the elite to being catered to.” On this episode of Ukuvusa we sat down with Latasha McCorkle, aka Fantastic Tasha, to discuss her life, her current activism work in and around Greensboro, and her future aspirations as a politician and cultural consultant. Fantastic Tasha, is also the host of the Bridging the Gap podcast, whose timely focus is “bridging the gap between politics and rap.” Through her work Tasha has been a sort of “translator” for the Greensboro community by articulating the concerns of everyday people in rooms where the influential make decisions.
